Urgent Information
Dear Friends and Colleagues
On January 5th Governor Brown released his proposed FY 2012-13 budget which calls for eliminating funding for the California Caregiver Resource Centers. The CRCs provide essential services to family caregivers of individuals with acquired brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, stroke Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Traumatic Brain Injury and related dementia.
We ask that you call your legislators to voice your support for the Caregiver Resource Centers. The legislators need to hear how crucial and vital the Caregiver Resource Centers are in California. If you need assistance in finding your local legislators, please visit http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/yourleg.html
